Kickin' It Old School

I love how this beanie turned out - it makes me want to wear a beanie. This is a simple pattern and very easy to make, but you add in the stripe and it looks very neat. This is made using 2 strands of 4 ply yarn and a size N hook.

Fancy Dancy

Here is a hat that I crocheted as a Christmas gift for my niece Megan. I made it with 1 strand of 4 ply yarn and 1 strand of faux fur. It turned out really soft and very warm. I was making it as a surprise so the fit wasn't quite what I wanted, but her mother tells me that she wears it everyday anyway. I thought it turned out pretty cute1
